But there is a twist to the formula… actually, there are 4 twists to the formula. The base of each overdrive is the same, but with different tweaks for each one. While they may start the same, there are different textures and sounds you can get from each one.

The Red channel is closest to the stock circuit. The main difference is the addition of the Ultra switch. Flicking that on, you add gain and distortion to the circuit, making it perfect for leads! If you obsess over “magic diodes”, the green channel is what you are looking for. With the same controls for Volume, Gain and Treble, this circuit adds a 4-way clipping switch changing out the “magic diodes”. Tailor the circuit to the sound you like the best! The yellow channel is for those that really like to tweak their sound. The normal circuit blends between the clean and dirty signal. But what if you want to have more clean, or more dirty signal? The Yellow channel is perfect for that. You are able to tweak the mix of clean and dirty to your hearts content. In the typical circuit, there is only a control over the amount of treble that you hear with a fixed amount of bass. The Blue channel gives back that control, letting you dial in the perfect amount of bass for your sound.
