Pi Factory Distortion

Head to the tone factory with the Schu-Tone Pi-Factory Deluxe. The Pi-Factory Deluxe is the ultimate distortion machine with plenty of options to sculpt your sound. The heart of the circuit is a classic transistor based distortion circuit. The Pi Factory takes the classic and turns it up to 11 with all the options you could ask for. There are controls for Volume, Tone and Sustain as you would expect. Where the Pi Factory Deluxe deviates is with the addition of the Mids and Blend controls. The Mids control helps boost your mids, letting this pedal cut through in the mix, being perfect for leads or rhythm playing. The Blend knob makes this the perfect distortion for bass players. With the Blend control at a minimum, only your clean sound comes through. As you turn it up, more and more distortion is present. This works great for bass players, helping to keep the low-end intact. There are plenty of switching options as well to alter your sound. The tone bypass switch takes out the Tone and Mids controls, but adds some gain back to the circuit. The Bender control removes the first set of clipping diodes, adding volume and more bass. The clipping toggle either uses traditional silicon diodes, LED diodes, or no clipping diodes. The HPF and LPF are filters that accentuate or cut the high and low end of the signal.
