Get your boogie on with the Schu-Tone La Plancheta Octave Fuzz. The La Plancheta is two circuits in one enclosure to help you dial your tone exactly where you need it to be. It starts with an Octave Fuzz circuit. This circuit is based on the classic Octavia used by Hendrix and others. This circuit gives you the classic rough and ratty fuzz tones that you are looking for. With the fuzz control down low, the fuzz has a ragged-edge to it. As you dial it up, it becomes more focused and tighter of a fuzz. The switch turns the octave effect on and off. If you are looking for a wooly-fuzz, keep the octave off. If you want something to add some clang and upper frequencies, turn the octave switch on and move above the 12th fret to unleash the upper octave. The second part of the circuit is the 7-band eq section. Use it to massage the upper and lower end to match your amp, or play with the potentiometers to give yourself some wild tones. If you want to really cut through, boost the mids all the way up! Alternatively, scoop those mids to dramatically alter your tone.
